Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
Design and installation of custom and packed Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems For over three decades PureEnergy has been a leader in innovative custom cooling and air conditioning systems. Our design/build experience has ranged from standard package systems to "Class One, Group D" Explosion Proof chillers for propane scrubbing in refineries and air cooled skid mounted coolers for construction in the deserts of Saudi Arabia to test facilities for the Department of Defense. We designed and installed large flooded "Ice On Coil" thermal storage systems for such companies as General Electric to supply critical cooling for their aircraft main engine fuel valve test stands. We developed laboratory cryogenic test cells for research projects at the California Institute of Technology significantly reducing temperature stabilization time, deferring cost and increasing accuracy. PureEnergy designed and installed numerous industrial process cooling systems for the petrochemical industry. In the industrial market we have helped major food processors reduce their initial and operating cost through innovative refrigeration designs, such as improved profile screw compressors, floating head pressure, condenser fan control based wet bulb tracking, oversized evaporators. We employed heat recovery, used pumped recirculation instead of discharge gas driven pressure recirculation on ammonia systems. We understand each process is different and unique and requires unique solutions. Blending cogeneration with HVAC and refrigeration offers significant opportunities. Waste heat from gas turbines can create high-pressure steam for processes, heating as well as refrigeration. That electrical power produced can power HVAC and chillers in large buildings or compressors in refrigeration plants, significantly reducing electrical loads, cost and risk.
A balance must be maintained, we simply identify the balance point and implement the solution. Key Benefits
